Give Back

$1 per 1k
On my trek, I will hike approximately 1330 kilometers. (826 miles). I’ll be sure to need a new pair of shoes by the end of my journey. But I’m a privileged American who can afford a new pair of shoes. What about the millions of people across the planet who don’t even own one decent pair of shoes? People who go barefoot their entire lives?
This is why I decided to implement the $1 per 1k drive. I’m trekking 1330 kilometers, and I want to raise $1330.
I know we can do it, the only question is how fast can we make it happen? I’ll kick things off by donating $100. That leaves just $1230 left to raise. Anybody who donates $10 or more will get an equivalent section of the Donation Map in their name.
$1 donated to Soles 4 Souls buys 1 pair of shoes. Every dollar helps!

About Soles 4 Souls
Soles 4 Souls is a charitable organization run out of Tennessee. After the 2004 tsunami hit southeast Asia, Wayne Elsey contacted some executives in the footwear industry and organized a massive shoe drive to the victims of the natural disaster. In 2005, Elsey did the same for those affected by Katrina. Since then, Soles 4 Souls has grown and has delivered over 10 million pairs of shoes to the desolate all around the world.
